The Red Fortress Alhambra was recently published (12-18-2013) in The Santa Fe New Mexican‘s ‘Lasting Images’, part of the newspaper’s travel section. The caption reads: “In October, Max Underwood of Santa Fe visited the Alhambra, a 14th century Moorish palace in Granada, Spain. ‘Alhambra in Arabic means ‘red’, which refers to the sun-dried bricks used on the palace’s outer walls.”
